All it takes to get started is a short message to Kanguro with the contact form. Afterwards, you’ll be asked some easy question about your needs. And later we can get together and get started on creating compelling copy for your company. Read on to find out more details about how Kanguro will work with you:

Quote

Kanguro isn’t a fan of hourly fees, which is why project based fees are strongly preferred. You pay Kanguro for the value and creativity it creates for you.

A fixed fee ensures that there’s a ceiling on your investment so that you know how much is to be spent with no added surprises. You also don’t have to worry every time you contact Kanguro for help, as there is no meter running.

Kanguro needs to know a few things before quoting a fee:

  • What are your goals?
  • How big is the project?
  • What kind of copy do you need? Brochures, web, PR release, email, etc
  • How many pages of copy do you need? e.g. do you need copy for 3 web pages,  a 6 page brochure or 1 page press release?
  • When do you need it completed?

Proposal

After getting a better idea of what you need. I’ll send you a written proposal with the scope of the project and terms of conditions. Goals, timing, number of revisions, drafts.

10 days lead time

Give Kanguro ten days to start the work. Because of other commitments, it’s just not feasible to start a new project the very next day.

50% deposit, 7 day terms

New clients are required to deposit 50% of the quote within 7 days of agreeing to the proposal. It requires commitment on both our parts in order to deliver the best results as fast as possible. This works for both our benefit – when there’s “skin in the game” people tend to be more responsive which gets things done faster.

Research & asking questions

Once the deposit is paid, Kanguro begins working on the project.

For Kanguro to deliver the best possible service we need to wrap our heads around your company. That’s why Kanguro tends to ask a lot of questions about your activities, values & marketing efforts.

Coming up with ideas

After processing through all the information. Kanguro starts brainstorming and producing profitable ideas.

After digging through all the thoughts and ideas, the writing process begins.

Outline and draft review

Most of the time goes into writing the first draft. That’s why Kanguro will give a rough outline of the copy for your approval before writing the first draft.

It is easier and faster to make adjustments in the beginning as opposed to the final stages of the project.

You will receive the first draft only when Kanguro is 100% happy with it.

Going through the copy can take a bit of your time, so please reserve enough space in your schedule for constructive feedback.

Invoice

After everything is done. Kanguro sends you an invoice for the balance. Standard terms 14 days
