Through the use of a device that’s just about the size of an Apple TV. Finnish startup Walkbase allows retailers to analyze their customers’ in-store behavior. Essentially bringing real-time and accurate analytics to the offline world, Walkbase Analytics allows them to find out exactly what consumers are doing in their stores.

This year’s Slush conference was the venue for their first public installation, where they also produced some interesting figures on the event itself (see infographic below).
