All of us were taught a specific style of writing back at school. From course essays to science reports, our writing back then was graded on how well it conformed to academia.
Fast forward to today, and the mantra that’s being shouted at today is, “Content is king”. All of a sudden our writing skills are at the forefront of our marketing efforts. But. It’s not the same as typing away an essay for a grade. The difference here is that you’re writing content to engage people.
It’s a distinct style of writing that’s contrary to what we learned back in school. All of which, I discuss in my blog post at Cuutio.
